BRC Dressage

What a beautiful day I had on Sunday.  Gorgeous, warm weather, LOTS of chatting, horses and my camera - does it get any better? 

Just a few pics from the show - enjoy.

This is Chelie and Lofty - simply stunning!  He's a 6 year old KWPN (I think - correct me if I'm wrong pls Chelie!), a bit of a handful at times but behaving impeccably on Sunday.  All that hard work is definitely paying off.


The next two are of Debbie and Loana - I cannot believe how far they have come together in such a short time.  Loana had done nothing for 3 years when Debbie bought her but said she had to go with her gut instinct.  Seeing her on Sunday showed how right her instinct was - they make a beautiful combination.

Caroline has 3 under 3!!!!  Honestly, she does!  It was great to meet them all, they are all such different characters and I think that comes across in the pics.  Here's Caroline's sneak peak.

I had a lovely reunion on thursday with some girls I used to teach - it was a bit scary to see them all grown up!  Two have children and the other is getting married next year, it doesn't seem possible, it seems only 5 minutes ago that they were pondering over equations! 

It was wonderful to see them all and of course, it gave me a perfect opportunity to snap some pics of Laura's beautiful daughter, Freya.

Linda and Dilly

I spent some time with Linda and Dilly on Sunday - gorgeous sunshine but the wind was crazy! With this in mind natural, windswept pictures were our best shot. Dilly is beautiful and like all horses, will do almost anything for a mint! Here's a couple of preview shots - I hope you like them.

Tilly

I was out taking pictures of Jane and Tilly today and unbelievably the rain held off , if only the same could be said for the wind! I am always amazed by how quickly some horses come to trust new owners and today was no exception. Tilly has only been with Jane a few weeks but there is already clearly a strong relationship developing, in fact trying to get a headshot of Tilly without her nuzzling Jane was all but impossible!

Percy

A few pictures of Percy and Nicole. What a few months he has had! After a very serious eye infection, Percy sadly had to have one of his eyes removed. This sounded like the end of the world when it happened, but Percy has found that he needs to rely on Nicole and the result is a very trusting horse and a close bond between them. I think you can see it.

We had a lovely afternoon with our good friends Alison and Richard.
